How to spot someone in training for Ironman...

From my own personal experience...
1.  They always carry a water bottle with them
2.  They more often than not have compression gear under their normal everyday clothes, sometimes they even have togs under there too!
3.  They leave a party before the sun even sets
4.  Their alcohol consumption halves, sometimes even quarters
5.  They yell in pain when they stand up, or sit down...
6.  Out of habit, they un-clip their feet from their accelerator in their car
7.  They generally have a bike rack permanently attached to the back of their car and more often than not, have a bike on it.. If they don't, then look inside their car, they are bound to have a bike jammed into it!
8.  They start most sentences with... "My coach said"
9.  Their partners/husbands/wives look just as buggered as them - from being left looking after the children!
10. Their handbag will be full of protein bars and/or leppins
11. Their handbag is actually a swimming bag!
12. They leave the house at least 2-3 morning a week before the rest of the street is awake
13. If you see them more than once in the course of a day, they are guaranteed to have different clothes on
14. Their stories consist of their body pain, tiredness or what is next to eat?!
15. Their children's stories at school are based around triathlons
16. Their gardens are overgrown and their houses are messy
17. They are asleep on the couch by 7.30pm
18. Their week is organised around their training schedule...
19. When they go to their car in the morning, they never carry just one bag
20. They smell of chlorine
